Jordan is an Arab country in Western Asia, on the East Bank of the Jordan River. It is bordered by Saudi Arabia to the south and the east, Iraq to the north-east, Syria to the north and Israel and Palestine (West Bank) to the west. The country has a small coastline to the Red Sea in its extreme south-west, but is otherwise landlocked. It is strategically located at the crossroads of Asia, Africa and Europe.

United Arab Emirates

The United Arab Emirates is a country in Western Asia at the southeast end of the Arabian Peninsula on the Persian Gulf, bordering Oman to the east and Saudi Arabia to the south and west, as well as sharing maritime borders with Qatar to the west and Iran to the north. The sovereign constitutional monarchy is a federation of seven emirates consisting of Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Dubai, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah and Umm Al Quwain.
