Forbes has released The World’s Most Powerful Celebrities List, which includes EDM superstars Calvin Harris and Avicii.
The list is compiled using data collected from over 200 celebrities in order to create a pool of top earners, and ranges from athletes, movie stars, pop stars and TV personalities.
Swedish artist Avicii holds the 47th position, above Hollywood directors Peter Jackson and Michael Bay, whilst Calvin Harris is ranked 21st, in the same league as pop stars Lady Gaga and Kanye West and sporting legends Tiger Woods and Rafael Nadal.
Both artists have held prominent positions in the Forbes DJ Rich List last year, with Harris securing the top spot, but this addition to a far larger and diverse list is a massive testament to the growth of Electronic Dance Music.
