He has worked with a wide range of organisations to help improve services including undertaking case reviews, critical challenge and delivering training for staff and residents.

Portfolio for housing for Police and Crime Commissioner

Police

CIH is offering landlords in Devon and Cornwall a chance to work collaboratively in developing a portfolio for housing in their area  to present to the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC), which is aimed at:

  • ensuring a strong strategic relationship between the PCC and housing sector across Devon and Cornwall
  • displaying the importance of what the housing sector has to offer
  • identifying what the housing sector needs from the PCC (funding/partnership management/coordination)

The introduction of the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) is imminent and will see a fundamental change in how services are commissioned for community safety.

The current project will cover Devon and Cornwall however it could be replicated in other parts of the country.
