Entrants must demonstrate excellence in a residential-based regeneration scheme which has improved the environment and living conditions in a specific area

The category is open to any residential-based development scheme which is deemed to have improved the environment and living conditions in a specific area. Often, but not exclusively, entries will include partnerships with regeneration agencies and the public sector.

Entries will be judged on some or all of the following: 

  • Imagination and creativity in the delivery and components of the regeneration scheme 
  • Meeting a specific regeneration need 
  • Imagination and excellence in design 
  • Involvement of the local community in planning, delivery and final use 
  • Evidence of delivery and success of some or all of the final scheme 
  • Imagination in terms of approach to the scheme/delivery 
  • Evidence of third party satisfaction – local authority, agency, community
