Entrants must demonstrate how their products, initiatives or developments are excelling and innovating in the drive to reduce and eliminate carbon emissions in new homes

The category is open to initiatives, systems, homes or developments.

Entries will be judged on some or all of the following: 

  • How they contribute to reducing carbon emissions on a new homes development or in relation to a new homes development 
  • Awareness of the zero carbon and sustainability agenda 
  • Contribution to energy efficiency, carbon compliance and/or allowable solutions 
  • Practicality for the housebuilder in terms of cost, use, buildability 
  • Contribution to energy saving/ efficiency for the end user
