What is covered by the Dyson guarantee?

The repair or replacement of your vacuum cleaner (at Dyson’s discretion) if your vacuum cleaner is found to be defective due to faulty materials, workmanship or function within 5 years (2 years for fans and handheld vacuum cleaners) of purchase or delivery (whichever is later). If any part is no longer available or out of manufacture Dyson will replace it with a functional replacement part. Refurbished vacuum cleaners sold by Dyson are covered for 2 years (1 year for refurbished handheld vacuum cleaners).

Normal domestic use of the vacuum cleaner in the UK and Republic of Ireland.

NB: 5 year guarantee applies to uprights and cylinders purchased on or after 27^th July 2006.
